Éclectique

This shell house - a one floor apartment - has been transformed into a two bedroom residence with ensuite bathrooms, a large living room and a spacious kitchen annex dining room. A rhythmic layout has been added to create tranquility in an outspoken eclectic interior. Hence i.e. the long fitted closet/wardrobe with objects and furniture aligned vertically on top and a long L-shape kitchen with a large dining table placed in the middle. The house breathes art and design, but in a warm and cosy way. Words such as outspoken, serenity, intrigue and at home were key in designing and styling every corner of this residence.

Dreamy vintage

The first floor of this residence has been given an open character by eliminating doors and a long wall, which was present in the length of the room. By adding a platform, this open floor maintains cosiness throughout. Making it a place to stay connected which each other, but also to hide wherever. Hence the glass door, low walls with glass or see-though screens on top and a net curtain between the dining table and the living room. The dreamy vintage look and feel makes it a place where you love to lounge with each other or just by yourself with a coffee in de morning underneath the skylight in the living area.
