Full renovation and kitchen design - Amsterdam HK

This two-storey shell in Amsterdam was fully renovated in a soft retro style, focusing on craftsmanship and high-quality materials. I created the layout, electrical and lighting plans, and materials list, supervised the renovation, and designed the kitchen.

Floor plan - Texel Den Burg

I advised a couple who were moving from the Randstad to Texel on the layout of the ground floor of their new listed house. The issue was that the original living room might need to be converted into a B&B room with a shower, but they weren’t yet sure whether they wanted to run a B&B.

I positioned the kitchen in such a way that, should the B&B go ahead, it would occupy a prominent position whilst also incorporating a non-removable load-bearing wall that would otherwise have been in the way. If the B&B does not go ahead, the wall between the bedroom and the kitchen can be removed, turning the kitchen into a connecting hallway. The tall kitchen cupboards flow into a long seating unit, and echos the open fireplace.

~ Éclectique

This one-floor shell was turned into a two-bedroom home with ensuite baths, a large living room, and a spacious kitchen-dining area. A rhythmic layout brings calm to its bold, eclectic interior: a long vertical wardrobe and an L-shaped kitchen with a central dining table. The house feels warm and cozy, and is full of art and design.

~ Dreamy vintage

The first floor of this residence has been given an open character by eliminating doors and a long wall. To keep it cosy, a raised platform was added. The glass doors, low walls with glass or screens, and a curtain between the dining and living areas let people stay connected or find a private spot. The vintage, dreamy vibe makes it perfect for lounging together or alone with a morning coffee under the living area's skylight.

~ A mid-century home

This mid-century styled home combines retro with brocante, modern design and natural products, such as a wooden floor and natural stones.
